7054Noelle Surette excelled as a four-year member of the basketball and lacrosse teams. Her hard work and determination allowed her to become one of the most versatile players and one of a select few Colby-Sawyer basketball players to win three conference championships (2005, 2006, 2008). In her basketball career, Noelle helped the Chargers to an 87-26 overall record and a remarkable 56-8 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) record. Noelle averaged 18 points and 9.4 rebounds as a junior and was named CCC Player of the Year, CCC First Team, N.H. DIII Player of the Year, N.H. DIII First Team and New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) First Team. She added 13.6 points and 8.4 rebounds as a senior to be named CCC First Team, N.H. DIII First Team and D3Hoops All-Region Third Team. Noelle finished her career eighth in points (1,158), eighth in rebounds (705) and fourth in made free throws (290). She also holds the record for most free throws in a game (13) and in a season (135). She ranks second for points in a season (504) and scoring average (18.0), while her 37 points and 13 field goals in a game are also second most. On the lacrosse field, Noelle's stout defending was pivotal to the success of the team, which went to the postseason all four years. She earned All-CCC Second Team, All-CCC Honorable Mention and Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll accolades.
