Colby-Sawyer Athletics

The feat is as rare now as it was when Laura Fogarty was in school – to be a three-sport athlete. Laura excelled in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse throughout her four years at Colby-Sawyer. She earned numerous team accolades in each sport, which included four Most Valuable Player awards, three Outstanding Athlete awards and was a six-time team captain. As dedicated as Laura was to her teams, she was equally committed in the classroom and was the ideal student-athlete. Laura was named Colby-Sawyer Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 1990 for making significant contributions to the scholastic and varsity athletic programs. She also received the Colby-Sawyer Award at graduation.
