Drew garnered six United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) All-American Awards in his four years as a Colby-Sawyer Alpine ski racer. He led the Chargers to impressive third place finishes at USCSA Nationals in 2001 and 2002. He also led them to two Eastern Collegiate Ski Conference Regional Championships in his freshman and senior seasons. In 2001, Drew took home the silver medal at the USCSA Giant Slalom National Championships, and in 2002 he was the USCSA Giant Slalom Regional Champion. Drew was twice named Colby-Sawyer Male Athlete of the Year and was a three-time team captain, as well as a three-time Most Valuable Skier for the Chargers.
