The 1999 baseball team won a record 25 games and captured the program's second Commonwealth Coast Conference title. The team earned the program's first post-season berth and played in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) tournament. Colby-Sawyer finished 25-12 overall and went an impressive 13-1 in conference games. The team holds single-season records in average (.324), slugging percentage (.510), on base percentage (.413), at-bats (1,267), stolen base percentage (.910), runs scored (330), hits (410), home runs (45), triples (15), runs batted in (275), total bases (646), walks (163), strikeouts per nine innings (6.11) and strikeouts (194).
The 1999 team was composed of Mike Bargamian '01, Brian Beauman '99, captain Tyler Blout '99, Chris Cabe '00, Adam Dow '01, Rob Fagan '01, Jason Frew '00, Shawn Herlihy '01, Darcy LaFrance '00, Scott Lavigne '01, David Lindberg '01, Chris Lindquist '99, Kevin Maccioli '02, John Pelech '02, David Shoreman '02, Mark Smith '99, Ryan Smith '00, captain Eric St. Onge '99, Kurt Svoboda '00, George Sylvester '00 and Ryan Willey '00. The 1999 baseball team was led by Head Coach Jim Broughton and Assistant Coach Rick Miller.
