Brian Wilder enters the hall of fame as an individual after being inducted in 2015 as part of the 1997-98 Men's Basketball team. He was an integral part of the college's first Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship in 97-98 and helped the Chargers to an 83-26 overall record and 47-5 conference record in four years. Wilder's determination and devoted work ethic guided him to become one of the best players in the region throughout his career. Wilder collected 1,608 career points to rank fifth in program history. He also ranks seventh in career rebounds (658) and fourth in field goals made (687). Wilder still holds the record for most field goals made in a season with 252 and has the second best field goal percentage in a season at 60.1%. On February 9, 1998, Wilder posted a single-game record of 18 made field goals in a win over Anna Maria. A year later, Wilder poured in 45 points in a win over Norwich to register the second most points in a game. The awards began to pile up for Wilder in his sophomore season when he was named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) First Team and was a Columbus Multimedia All-Region Honorable Mention honoree. In his junior season, as defenders put more attention on trying to stop him to no avail, Wilder finished the season with 19.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. He was named All-CCC First Team, ECAC New England All-Star Third Team, Columbus Multimedia All-Region Second Team, N.H. DIII Second Team, and CoSida Academic All-District Second Team. In his final season, Wilder averaged 20.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He earned CCC First Team, Columbus Multimedia All-Region Honorable Mention, N.H. DIII Second Team, D3hoops Team of the Year Third Team, and CoSida Academic All-District Second Team accolades. Wilder also played in the New England Basketball Coaches Association (NEBCA) Senior All-Star game.
