Kevin Keith, a 2014 graduate was a four-year member of the baseball team. Keith will go down as one of the best pitchers in school history. He ranks first, or is tied for first in a number of pitching categories, including earned run average (2.51), strikeouts (208), starts (35) and shutouts (7). In addition, he is tied for the most appearances (44), complete games (22), and saves (5) in Chargers history.
In 2013, Keith was named NAC Pitcher of the Year for his efforts on the diamond. During the season, he had eight wins, including four shutouts with 61 strikeouts. He ranked third in the country in earned run average (0.97). He was seventh in the country in strikeout/walk ratio (8.71) and 13th in complete games. Keith also earned All-NAC First Team, NEIBA All-New England Second Team, and D3Baseball.com All-New England Second Team honors during the 2013 season.
Keith continued this dominance on the hill during his senior season. He ended the 2014 season ranked 15th in the country in complete games and lead the Chargers in wins (4), appearances (9), strikeouts (43), starts (8), and innings pitched (43).
Keith is currently a Trooper with the Massachusetts State Police. He is still playing baseball in the Cranberry League with the Braintree White Sox, it is his 11th season with the team.  Â
