LAKELAND, Fla. - March 8, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer baseball team rebounded after a loss yesterday with a pair of wins over Clark (Mass.) on Thursday at Henley Field. The Chargers took game one 9-1 and won the second 3-2.

Colby-Sawyer improves to 6-2, while Clark dips to 1-6.

Game One - Colby-Sawyer 9, Clark 1 - BOX SCORE

Sophomore hurler Kevin Keith continued his early season dominance on the mound with a complete game. He allowed one earned run, seven hits and struck out three. Sophomore Andy Lapple was productive at the plate with a single, a triple, and two runs batted in. Senior Greg Mehuron had a single, a double, and knocked in one.

Game Two - Colby-Sawyer 3, Clark 2 - BOX SCORE

The Chargers got another great outing on the hill in game two by senior Ryan Gillan. He did not allow and earned run and surrendred only five hits. Gillan also had four strikeouts and did not walk anyone in the complete game victory. Freshman Alex Fredette had a pair of base hits. Sophomore Andy Lapple knocked in a pair with a base hit. 

Colby-Sawyer is back on the field tomorrow morning at 9:00 am vs WPI at Chain O'Lakes Park, Winter Haven FL.
