Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a junior: Greg was one of two players on the team to start in all 36 games in 2011. He led the team with 19 runs scored, nine stolen bases, two triples and was second on the team with 16 runs batted in. His best game came on March 5 against Lesley. He went 4-5 with two runs, two RBI and two stolen bases.

As a sophomore: Greg earned All-TCCC Honorable Mention accolades after having a break out year at the plate.  He posted the fifth highest single season batting average by hitting at a .404 clip. Greg led the team with his batting average and was 8th out of all players in the conference. He struck out just seven times in 99 official at-bats, ranking him 240th in the country as toughest to strike out. Greg also led the team in stolen bases (10) and on base percentage (.465), and was second on the team in slugging percentage (.465), RBI (25), and total bases (46).

As a freshman: Greg played in 33 games and started in 32. He was solid in the field as the short stop and was second on the team with 84 assists. Greg was seventh on the team with 21 runs scored.

At Harwood Union: Mehuron was a three sport standout athlete in baseball, basketball, and soccer. He was a First Team All-Capital selection in both baseball and basketball, and was awarded with the Times Argus Player of the Year for both sports as well. He was invited to compete in both the North vs. South Baseball and Basketball Classic, which showcases the top players in the state. Mehuron was a Third Team All-State in basketball and a Second Team All-Capital selection for his play on the soccer pitch.

Personal: Son of Bruce and Margaret Mehuron. Has a younger brother named Chris. Major is undecided.
