NEW LONDON, N.H. - D3Baseball.com has released their 2026 All-Region teams from the end of the season. Two Charger seniors were named to the Region I All-Region 3rd team based on their performances from the season.

Mike McLeer: Outfield
McLeer was a force at the plate for the Chargers this year, while playing in every single game for the first time in his career. The senior from Saco, Maine led the Chargers in home runs this year, totaling seven and improving his career high by five. His .371 batting average was fourth best on the team while his total of 50 hits were a career best as well by a wide margin. He had a breakout year recording career highs in multiple other categories to be one of the best players within the Great Northeast Athletic Conference and Region I. McLeer was named to the GNAC All-Conference team a couple weeks ago as an outfielder.

Mike had bolstered a 7 game hitting streak where the Chargers went 6-1 during that stretch. One of his best games came against Plymouth St. back on April 16th where he finished 3-4 at the plate while driving in 6 runs thanks to a double and a home run. He finished with 7 games where he recorded 3+ hits for the team and 6 games where he recorded 3+ runs batted in.

Dylan Watson: Utility
Watson returned to a dual role for the Chargers both in the filed, and an a pitcher. At the plate, Dylan recorded 42 hits on the year, with two home runs and 23 runs batted in. He came across to score 32 runs while averaging .313. He bolstered a 7 game hitting streak near the end of the season for the Chargers where the team went 5-2 during that stretch. Watson went on to have his second most hits in a season, while tying his career high in home runs and runs batted in. 

On the mound, Dylan had his second best earned run average in eight appearances. He pitched 27.0 innings while recording two complete games with one of them being a complete game shut out on April 18th against New England College.
