2024:
O'Brien had his best season for Colby-Sawyer in 2024, continuing to make history. Cooper slashed .365/.479/.642 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with nine homers, 48 RBIs, 46 runs, 24 stolen bases, 12 doubles and a triple while starting all 42 games. O'Brien was later named to the ABCA All-Region Second Team becoming the first Charger to ever be named to the second team while also making the D3Baseball.com All-Region First Team and joining teammate Dylan Watson as the first ever named to the first team. Cooper was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Second Team leading the conference in home runs (9) and stolen bases (24) while placing third in runs scored (46) and walks (29). O'Brien's best game of the season came on April 25th against Mitchell going 3-for-5 with four RBI, a home run, a triple and a run scored in a huge GNAC win. Cooper added a 3-for-4 game on May 4th against Saint Joseph's (Maine) going 3-for-4 with three runs scored an RBI and a double in a win in the GNAC Pod Play. O'Brien ended the season setting three single-season program records in runs (46), walks (29) and stolen bases (24). Cooper ranks 8th in program history in batting average (.343), 3rd in slugging percentage (.596), 3rd in on base percentage (.450), 7th in runs scored (101), 2nd in doubles (29), 4th in home runs (21), 4th in stolen bases (39), while being the record holder in walks (70). 

2023: O'Brien continued to be a star for the Chargers in his senior season as the starting 33 games for Colby-Sawyer. Cooper ended the year with a .324/.412/.574 (AVG/OBP/SLG) slash line with a team-leading six home runs, 24 RBI and 30 runs to go with nine doubles and nine stolen bags. O'Brien ranked 6th in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in home runs (6). 16th in runs scored (30), 16th in stolen bases (9), 24th in batting average (.324) and 25th in RBI (24). Cooper had a career-day at the plate on March 12th against the University of Maine - Presque Isle going 2-for-4 with two homers and seven RBI. O'Brien added a 3-for-3 night on April 21st at Anna Maria College with a solo homer and two runs scored in a Charger win. Cooper was later named to the GNAC All-Conference Third Team. O'Brien ranked 5th in program history in slugging percentage (.567), 6th in on base percentage (.430), 7th in home runs (12) and 10th all-time in batting average (.329).

2022: O'Brien was the top bat for the Chargers in 2022 starting all 37 games in a corner outfield or designated hitter role. Cooper ended the year slashing .324/.443/.546 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with a team-best six home runs, a team-high 27 RBIs, six doubles and 23 runs scored. O'Brien had 53 putouts and two assists in the field ending the year with a .948 fielding percentage. O'Brien had 13 multi-hit games for the Chargers including a two-homer game on March 30th against Norwich University, where O'Brien went 2-for-2 with the two long shots with a career-best five RBIs, three runs scored and a pair of walks. Cooper's bat was red hot from March 14th to March 31st, hitting safely in 11 of the 12 games for the Chargers and finishing the stretch 17-for-35 (.485) with four homers, 16 RBIs, 12 runs scored, five doubles and a pair of stolen bases. O'Brien hit his first collegiate homerun on March 16th against Curry College in a 8-7 Charger win. O'Brien was later named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Third Team and was also a GNAC player of the week.

2021: O'Brien started two games for the Chargers in the 2021 shortened season. O'Brien went 1-for-5 at the plate with a double and a RBI. In the field O'Brien also had three putouts in the outfield. 

2020: O'Brien earned a GNAC Rookie of the Week award. In the shortened 2020 season, O'Brien started five times in eight appearances. He hit .429, was tied for fourth on the team with six hits, third with four RBI and second with a pair of stolen bases.  

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Vergennes Union High School, where O'Brien was a two-sport athlete participating in baseball and hockey. O'Brien was a two-year baseball team captain.
