AT COLBY-SAWYER
2026: Montalvo capped off his career as a consistent presence in the Chargers' infield, starting all 39 games and batting .331 with 39 hits, 23 runs scored and 19 RBIs. Devin added nine doubles, two triples, 21 walks and a stolen base. On March 18th against Mount Aloysius, Montalvo recorded his 100th career hit as part of a 2-for-3 performance with two RBIs and a double. He delivered one of his best games of the season on March 22nd at Dean, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored. Montalvo also drove in a season-high three runs as part of a 2-for-3 performance against Albertus Magnus on April 11th and collected a season-high three hits against Elms on April 22nd. Defensively, Devin recorded 51 putouts and 92 assists while helping turn 23 double plays. Montalvo finished his Colby-Sawyer career ranked fourth in program history in walks and fourth in double plays turned.
2025: Montalvo continued as an everyday presence in the Chargers' infield, starting in 36 games. Devin finished the season batting .241 with 27 hits, 17 runs scored, 18 RBIs, three doubles and 16 walks. He recorded multiple hits in several games, including a pair of two-hit performances in a doubleheader at New England College on April 4th. Montalvo also went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI and a double against Norwich on April 21st. He closed the season with one of his best offensive performances on May 3rd against Saint Joseph (Conn.), going 2-for-5 with a home run and a season-high three RBIs. Defensively, Montalvo recorded 50 putouts and 68 assists while helping turn 13 double plays.
2024: Montalvo shifted over to second base for the Chargers in 2024, starting 37 games. Devin ended the season slashing .272/.370/.320 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with 24 RBIs, 23 runs, six doubles and five stolen bases. Montalvo's fielding percentage in his sophomore season was .945 with 45 putouts and 75 assists. Devin had a big game on March 22nd at Anna Maria, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored in a huge win. Montalvo added a 3-for-6 performance with an RBI and a run scored.
2023: Montalvo became the everyday starter at shortstop for the Chargers in 2023, starting 32 games. Devin finished the year with a .261/.328/.342 (AVG/OBP/SLG) slash line with 20 RBIs, 17 runs scored, eight stolen bases, seven doubles and a triple. Defensively, he ended the year with 28 putouts, 55 assists and 13 errors. Montalvo had a huge game on March 12th against the University of Maine - Presque Isle, going 4-for-4 with three runs scored, two doubles and two RBIs. Devin added a 2-for-4 day on March 16th against the University of Maine - Farmington with a career-best three RBIs and a triple. Montalvo went 3-for-6 at Elms College on March 26th with two runs scored and a stolen base.
