2024: Montalvo shifted over to second base for the Chargers in 2024 starting 37 games. Devin ended the season slashing .272/.370/.320 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with 24 RBIs, 23 runs, six doubles and five stolen bases. Montalvo's fielding percentage in his sophomore season was .945 with 45 putouts and 75 assists. Devin had a big game on March 22nd at Anna Maria going 3-for-5 with two runs scored in a huge win. Montalvo added a 3-for-6 performance with a RBI and a run scored. 

2023: Montalvo became the everyday starter at shortstop for the Chargers in 2023 starting 32 games. Devin finished the year with a .261/.328/.342 (AVG/OBP/SLG) slash line with 20 RBI, 17 runs scored, eight stolen bags, seven doubles and a triple. Defensively he ended the year with 28 putouts, 55 assists and 13 errors. Devin Montalvo had a huge game on March 12th against the University of Maine - Presque Isle going 4-for4 with three runs scored, two doubles, and two RBI. Devin added a 2-for-4 day on March 16th against the University of Maine - Farmington with a career-best three RBI and a triple. Montalvo went 3-for-6 at Elms College on March 26th with two runs scored and a stolen base.
