New London, NH – The Colby-Sawyer baseball team will travel from New London, New Hampshire to New London, Connecticut, to play against the Mariners of Mitchell College for a Saturday doubleheader. 

The Chargers won 21-2 last Sunday against the Dean Bulldogs. Micah McMannus (Beverly, MA) continued the impressive start to the season, as the first year has an ERA of 0.56. Devin Montalvo (Coram, NY) was 3-3 from the plate, putting his season batting average at .395. Senior Mike McLeer (Saco, ME) is currently 2nd in the GNAC for home runs (4).  

The Mariners are coming off a 23-12 win against MIT on Thursday. Jacob Quiles has an ERA of 1.17 after 15.1 innings of pitching. Kenneth Miller Jr. has 20 hits on the year, and Johnny Brucato is second in the GNAC for RBIs (21). 

The Historical Matchup: 

The Chargers and Mariners have played against each other five times before Saturday. 

Looking Ahead: 

After Saturday's doubleheader, the Chargers will head back to Dean to finish their doubleheader from last week on Tuesday, the 31st.
