MERIDEN, N.H. - March 29, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer women's lacrosse team won its second straight game after defeating Norwich, 15-7 at Kimball Union Academy on Friday evening.

The Chargers improve to 2-4, while the Cadets fall to 0-4.
Colby-Sawyer was led by a four-goal performance from senior
Laurel Bauer. Senior
Ashley Reis added three goals, while
Nichole Danehy,
Kylie McDonnell and
Caitlyn Whearty each scored twice.
Michelle Upham and
Alyssia Janak contributed a goal apiece.
Norwich was led by Gina Conroy's three goals. Chandler Camlin, Hope Royce, Grace Fitzpatrick, and Emma Smith each added a goal.
Karley Hamilton worked 33 minutes in goal and made one save to earn the victory.
Jodi Dumayne played the remaining 27 minutes and also made one save.
Rebecca Horgan stopped 11 shots for the Cadets in the loss. Horgan also was credited with a game-high 10 ground balls.
Colby-Sawyer returns to the field on Tuesday for a nonconference tilt at Keene. Norwich plays at St. Joseph's (Conn.) on Monday.
