Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a senior: Upham was named to the All-NAC First Team after anchoring the Colby-Sawyer defense that allowed the second fewest goals in conference play this season. She was third on the team with 16 caused turnovers and collected 18 ground balls. Upham also had nine goals.

As a junior: Upham played in nine games and was fourth on the team with 18 goals. One of the goals was the game-winner at Wentworth on March 23, which was her most impressive game of the season with six goals. 

As a sophomore: Upham appeared in 14 of the Chargers' 16 games in her second season. She had nine points on eight goals and an assist. Upham was fourth on the team with 30 ground balls and 17 draw controls. She also added the third most caused turnovers with 18. 

As a freshman: Michelle started in all 17 of Colby-Sawyer's games in 2012. She was fifth on the team with 23 points and tied for second with 46 ground balls. Michelle's first career goal game on March 5 against Goucher. She scored a season-high five points (4 goals, 1 assist) against New England College on April 11. 

At Chelsea: Michelle was a three sport athlete for the Red Devils. She was All-State in soccer, basketball and lacrosse as a senior. Michelle was a four-time Central Vermont All-Star in soccer and lacrosse. She earned High Honors and was on the Honor Roll.

Personal: Daughter of John and Deb. Has two sisters named Laura and Kim. Michelle is a Nursing major. She also is a member of the Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team.
