New London, NH – The Chargers played against Rivier on Tuesday night under the lights of Sally Shaw Veitch Field. Rose Finlayson's (Hopkinton, NH) four-goal performance helped the Chargers to a 10-7 win.

Cecilia Ponzini (Windham, NH) assisted junior Madeline Knight (Pownal, ME) for the first Charger goal of the game after two-and-a-half minutes of play. About three minutes later, Elena Bronson (Monkton, VT) scored to double the Charger lead. Brooke Carter and Hayleigh Young each scored for Rivier to tie the game at 2-2, before the end of the first quarter.

Sofia Cebrero assisted Olivia Wheeler to give Rivier a 3-2 lead with 12:14 left in the second quarter. About 30 seconds later, Ponzini assisted Bronson to make the scoreline even again. Two minutes later, Bronson scored her third of the day to give the Chargers the lead. Bronson assisted Lauren Vignola (Ringwood, NJ) to send the Chargers into the break with a 5-3 lead.

Finlayson scored early in the third to extend the Charger lead to three goals. Ponzini assisted Finlayson's second goal of the quarter. With 6:42 to go in the quarter, Grace Joly (Windham, ME) assisted Vignola to give Colby-Sawyer an 8-3 lead. Rivier scored before the end of the quarter as Kaycie Hudon assisted Chloe Waldron.

Hudon scored for the Raiders with 2:43 left on the game clock. Vignola assisted Finlayson's third goal of the game. Hudon assisted Wheeler and Young scored a goal, as the Chargers led 9-7 with 22 seconds left in the game. Vignola assisted Finlayon's fourth goal of the game. The Chargers won the game 10-7.

Joly picked up a team-high four ground balls, and Ashley Pelletier (Bridgton, ME) led the team in caused turnovers (four). Addison Glavin (Andover, ME) made eight saves for the Chargers.
