Biography

As a junior: Drost collected the second most strikeouts on the pitching staff with 24. He went 2-2 and threw three complete games. His best game was on April 14 against Maine-Farmington when he went the distance recording a seven strikeout shutout. Drost was named to the NAC All-Academic team. 

As a sophomore: Drost was fourth on the pitching staff with 20 strikeouts and 42.2 innings pitched. He helped the team to lead the nation in fewest walks per 9 innings at 2.14. 

As a freshman: Alex made seven appearances as a pitcher with five coming via the bullpen. He had a team best 1.84 earned run average in 14.2 innings pitched. Alex was 0-1 on the season, but did pick up a save.

At Windsor: Alex was a two-sport athlete excelling in soccer and baseball. He was named a 2010 Vermont North/South All-Star and a 2009-2010 Marble Valley League All-League for baseball. He also garnered MVL All-League accolades in 2009 for soccer.

Personal: Alex is the son of Glenn and Claudia. He has an older sister named Julia. Alex is a Nursing major.
