Summary

Biography

As a senior: Mitchell led the Chargers with six wins in nine starts. He threw the second most innings on the team with 50.1 and had a 3.55 ERA. One of Mitchell's three complete games was a seven-inning two-hit gem against Thomas on April 29. He struck out eight Terriers. Mitchell finished second on the team with 31 strikeouts. 

As a junior: Mitchell made eight starts in 2016 and got a win over MCLA on March 17 after five innings with no earned runs. He recorded a team best 28 strikeouts and logged the second most innings on the team with 39.1. 

As a sophomore: Mitchell made eight appearances on the mound and started seven times. He logged the second most innings on the team with 33.2 and led the Chargers with 21 strikeouts.  

As a freshman: Mitchell Jr. threw 17.1 innings in five appearances and struck out seven. 

At Avon: Chris was a four-year varsity baseball player for the Panthers. He was a 3-time all-star, 3-time Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic, 2-time team MVP, and a league MVP. 

Personal: Son of Debra and Chris. Has a brother named Dan. Chris is a Business Administration major.
