WOMEN'S LACROSSE HOSTS DEAN IN SEARCH FOR EIGTH STRAIGHT

New London, NH – On Saturday at noon, the Chargers will take on Dean College at Sally Shaw Veitch Field.  

The Chargers enter Saturday unbeaten on the season. The Chargers most recently beat Regis on Thursday 16-5. Lauren Vignola (Ringwood, NJ) tied the program record for most goals in a single game by scoring eight. Elena Bronson (Monkton, VT) tied the program record for most assists in a single game by recording six assists. Head Coach Emily Dewdney's team currently leads the GNAC in goals per game (16.14). Cecilia Ponzini (Windham, NH) leads the GNAC in ground balls (24).  

The Bulldogs will travel to New London for their fifth game of the season, and their third conference game of the season. The Bulldogs most recently played Saint Joseph's College of Maine, a game in which the Monks won. Shea Cassani is second in the GNAC for saves (58). Caroline Ramsey is tied for sixth in the GNAC for ground balls (19). Alisha Caldeira has four goals and two assists for the Bulldogs. 

The Historical Matchup: 

The two teams last played against each other in 2023. This will be the third all-time meeting between the two teams. 

Looking Ahead: 

After Saturday, the next game for the Chargers will be on Wednesday in New London against Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
