QUINCY, Mass. – The Chargers women's tennis dropped their match with Eastern Nazarene College on Wednesday falling by a 5-4 margin. 

Rapid Recap:

• The Chargers took a 2-1 advantage after doubles action as first year Maria Espinosa Lopez (Merida, Mexico) and junior Amelia Campanella (Chepachet, R.I.) started off the scoring with a 8-0 win in number two doubles. In the third doubles pairings senior Mary Thoms (Northwood, N.H.) and junior Mei Genest (Keene, N.H.) got the job done picking up 8-4 win.
• In singles action, Espinosa Lopez held on in number three singles to win by a 6-1, 6-4 margin and Thoms picked up the win in the number four singles slot by a 6-1, 6-2 final. The Chargers fell short in the rest of the singles play to fall to the Lions on the road.

The Chargers will host the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Saturday with a 12:00 PM start.
