Biography

AT COLBY-SAWYER
2023-24: Genest made 16 singles appearances and 19 doubles appearances for the Chargers in 2023-24. Mei ended the year with a 7-9 singles record including a 3-0 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) record, while going 9-10 in doubles competition. 

2022-23: Genest made four singles appearances and eight doubles appearances for the Chargers in 2022-23. Mei had her biggest doubles win on May 5th in the NCAA Division III Tournament winning #3 doubles by a 8-2 margin against UMass Boston with Lily Tria. Genest picked up a #5 singles win on March 15th at Ithaca College winning by a 6-1, 6-0 final.

2021-22: Genest saw action in seven singles matches and seven doubles matches in her first year in 2021-22. Mei finished the year 5-2 in singles and 3-4 in doubles play. Genest picked up her lone GNAC singles win on September 25th against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) with a 6-0, 6-0 sixth singles victory. 

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of the Winchendon School, where Genest was the captain of the girls varsity tennis team sophomore, junior, and senior year.
