NEW LONDON, N.H. – November 13, 2014 – The Colby-Sawyer College men's soccer team will play Lesley in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) semifinals on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The match will be played at Endicott College in Beverly, Mass.

HEREColby-Sawyer, the tournament's fourth seed, protected home field advantage on Wednesday with a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory over fifth seed Albertus Magnus. Lesley pulled off the biggest upset of the quarterfinal round as the eighth seed. The Lynx earned a 2-1 road win at top seed Norwich.
Colby-Sawyer is playing in the ECAC semifinals for the first time in program history. The Chargers enter the match at 12-6-2, which ties the most wins since 2002.
Saturday's contest will be the first meeting between the two teams.
The Chargers are led by freshman
Denali Sexton who has 12 goals and six assists for 30 points. Senior
Alex Ortega has 29 points on 11 goals and seven assists. Senior keeper
Nick Austin has surrendered 15 goals in 17 contests for a .86 goals against average and has nine clean sheets.
Lesley enters the semifinal match with a record of 11-6-4. The Lynx fell in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) semifinals to Daniel Webster. Lesley is led by sophomore Erik Johansen who has nine goals and an assist. Senior Jordan Santos leads the squad with eight assists. Junior goalie Chase Donley has played 18 matches in net and allowed 24 goals for a 1.31 goals against average.
