Zack Grady enters his fifth season at Colby-Sawyer in 2026.
During his third and fourth year as head coach, Grady lead the team to 11 combined wins with 7 combined GNAC wins. The Chargers would see four GNAC All-Conference Third Team selections.
In his second year at the helm, Grady ended the year with a 3-11-4 with a 1-9-4 GNAC record. Zack ended the year with a GNAC All-Rookie selection for the second-consecutive season.
In his first season as the head coach of the Chargers, Grady went 5-11-3 with a 2-8-2 GNAC record. Under his direction, Grady had two GNAC All-Conference Third Team selections and a GNAC All-Rookie team member.
Grady was also an ample part in bringing Blackrock FC to Colby-Sawyer College in 2023 and was an assistant coach for the USL League Two team over the summer.
Grady arrived in New London following six years as an assistant coach at the Division III level. Grady most recently was an assistant coach under legendary coach Mike Pilger at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut for the past four years. Prior to his time at Trinity, Grady spent two seasons as the assistant coach at Wheaton College (Mass.).
Grady also continues to be a renown coach on the New England soccer club circuit, being the current head coach of the 2005 boys Elite Clubs National League Team of the FC Stars. Grady was previously the head coach of Black Rock FC for a pair of years.
Grady was a four-year starter at New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) member Williams College from 2011-14, where he was the leading scorer for for the conference in his senior season, while also being honored as a member of the All-New England and All-NESCAC teams. Zack was apart of two final four teams for the Ephs. Grady competed one season in the United Soccer League as a member of the Western Massachusetts Pioneers in 2015.
Grady earned his Bachelor's Degree in History with a concentration in Civil Rights, and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Applied Sports Psychology at St. Mary's University in London, England in 2016.

Associate Head Coach - Jordan Barnett

Jordan Barnett enters his coaching role bringing a wealth of international playing experience and a robust background in player development. A native of England, Barnett’s soccer journey spans elite youth academies, competitive NCAA collegiate play, and the semi-professional ranks in the United Kingdom.
Barnett developed his foundational skills in England, progressing through the youth ranks at Grimsby Town FC. He then transitioned to the United States to play NCAA Division II soccer at Franklin Pierce University (NE10). A standout leader, Barnett captained the Ravens for two seasons, leading the squad to consistent NE10 playoff appearances and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. His individual performances earned him All-Rookie and All-Conference Third Team honors.
Following his collegiate career, Barnett returned to England to play semi-professionally for Grimsby Borough FC for two seasons. During this successful stint, he competed in the prestigious FA Cup and FA Vase, ultimately helping guide the team to a historic promotion campaign defined by a 100-goal attacking clinic and 19 defensive shutouts.
Complementing his on-field experience, Barnett holds a comprehensive suite of coaching licenses and certifications from both the United States and United Kingdom governing bodies, specializing in tactical instruction and talent identification:
