BANGOR, MAINE - April 7, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer College baseball team dropped a pair of games to Husson University in North Atlantic Conference play Sunday in Bangor, Maine.
GAME 1 - Husson 3 Colby-Sawyer 0
In the first game of the day, the Chargers bats were held quiet by Husson's Pat McEwen (Brewer, Maine) who scattered five hits over six innings of work. A pair of runs by the Eagles in the third and one more in the fourth was enough to give Husson the 3-0 advantage.

Vinny Monahan had two hits apiece for Chargers. Senior
Jordie Scheiner pitched a complete game giving up three runs on nine hits and striking out three.
GAME 2 - Husson 2 Colby-Sawyer 1 F/10inn
In the second game, both teams were held scoreless through four innings. Senior
Sean Gavin gave the Chargers a one run lead as he scored on a sacrifice fly from junior
Kyle Greenwood . Husson responded in the sixth to tie the game at one a piece and would score the game winning run in the bottom of the 10th to earn the 2-1 win.
Junior
Vinny Monahan added a pair of hits for the Chargers while junior
Alex Drost pitched 7.1 innings giving up one run on six hits and striking out four. Junior
Dave Maestri picked up the loss, allowing one run in two innings of relief.
Colby-Sawyer travels to New England College Monday for a double-header versus the Pilgrims. Game one is set to start at 2:00pm.
