WILLIMANTIC, Conn. - March 2, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer women's lacrosse team began the 2013 season with a 14-3 loss at Eastern Connecticut State on Saturday afternoon.
The Chargers are 0-1, while ECSU evens its record to 1-1.
Senior
Ashley Reis (Stowe, Vt.) led the Chargers with a pair of goals. Sophomore
Alyssia Janak (Bourne, Mass.) had the other Colby-Sawyer tally. Freshman
Karley Hamilton (Bradford, Vt.) stopped seven shots in the loss.
Danielle Marchitto, Ashley Wolk, and Erin Conn each scored three goals to lead the Warriors.
Colby-Sawyer travels to Lasell on Thursday at 4:00 pm.
