KEENE, N.H. - April 27, 2011 - The Colby-Sawyer baseball team fell to non-conference foe Keene State, 13-3 on Wednesday afternoon.
Keene improves to 25-9, while the Chargers are now 14-20.

Sophomore Kyle Underwood (Campton, N.H.) started the game on the mound for the Owls, going five innings allowing just one hit, one run and striking out two batters in the victory.
Morrill and junior Larry Longo (Londonderry, N.H.) each went deep for the Owls, while Morrill, sophomore Matt Topper (Hudson, N.H.) and freshman Matt Boulay (Stafford Springs, Conn.) each had doubles to help pace the Owls offense. Sophomore Greg Bates (Salem, N.H.) and senior Tyler DiPrato (Suffield, Conn.) each had three-hit performances for KSC in the win.

Ricky Perzentz (Westport, Mass.) only lasted an inning and a third allowing four earned runs and walking three batters resulting in his first defeat of the season (3-1). Freshman
PJ Singster (Sandown, N.H.) pitched well for the visitors, with three scoreless innings allowing only three hits in the middle innings for Colby Sawyer.
