Baseball Improves to 4-1 after 10-3 Victory Against Emerson

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - March 7, 2011 - The Colby-Sawyer baseball team improved to 4-1 on the season after a 10-3 victory over Emerson at Chain of Lakes Park. The Chargers are off on Tuesday, but will play on Wednesday at 9:00 am against Drew University.

Ryan Gillan threw 7 innings en route to the win, while Brendan Harding finished up the game. 

Jon Wylie belted a pair of home runs to lead the Colby-Sawyer offense. 

Cameron Knight added three hits and one run batted in. Jake Szulak knocked in a pair of runs on a couple of base hits. 

Justin Martin contributed two runs batted in, while Alex Drost tallied two hits and a RBI.
