Biography

As a sophomore: Ekta was appeared in net in seven games in 2011. She was 1-1 and recorded 49 saves.

As a freshman: Ekta got the starting nod in goal for 13 of Colby-Sawyer's 17 games in her first season. She was in net for five of the Chargers' six victories in 2010.

At Peoples Academy: Ekta was a three sport athlete for the Wolves. She played four years of soccer, three years of ice hockey and four years of golf. She was a member of the Vermont State Championship team in 2008. She also was a team captain for ice hockey and golf. Ekta is a member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal: Daughter of PJ Long. Has one older brother named Benjamin. Ekta is a Psychology major. She also is a member of the Colby-Sawyer soccer team.
