Biography

As a junior: Rial earned a nod to the All-NAC Second Team as a midfielder. She was second on the team in draw controls with 39 and fourth on the team in ground balls with 37. Kate added 22 points on 14 goals and eight assists.

As a sophomore: Kate appeared in all but one of Colby-Sawyer 18 games in 2011. She tallied 13 goals, which was fifth best on the team. Her best game of the season was on March 7 against Potsdam. She scored three times. Kate also had the game-winning goal in a 17-13 win over Gwynedd-Mercy on March 11.

As a freshman: Kate played in 13 games and scored two goals. Her first collegiate tally came on April 5 against Anna Maria.

At Downingtown East: Kate was a starter for the Lions at the center position. She participated in the Junior Olympics for swimming and earned a trip to the State Championships in cross country. Kate also was on the High Honor Roll.

Personal: Daughter of Criag and Lisa. Has one brother named stuart. Kate is a Studio Art major.
