Summary

Biography

As a senior: Berry collected her first nod to the All-NAC First Team. She led the team in ground balls with 79 and caused turnovers with 56. Berry was third on the team in points (41) and goals (36). The tri-captain also ranked among the national leaders. Berry ended the season 14th in the country in caused turnovers per game (2.95) and 32nd in ground balls per game (4.16). Berry was named NAC Defensive Player of the Week and ECAC Defensive Player of the Week during the season. Berry was once again named to the NAC All-Academic and All-Tournament teams.

As a junior: Berry earned her second straight nod to the All-NAC second team. She led the team with 33 caused turnovers, which ranked her 25th in the nation with 2.54 per game. Berry was second on the team with 43 ground balls and 36 draw controls. She collected 22 points on 17 goals and five assists. Berry was named to the NAC All-Academic team and All-Tournament team.

As a sophomore: Berry garnered All-NAC second team accolades in her second season with the Chargers. She ranked fourth in the conference in caused turnovers, fifth in draw controls and seventh in ground balls. Berry led Colby-Sawyer in all three of those categories. She also found herself among the nation's leaders. Berry ranked 31st in the country with 2.33 caused turnovers per game and was 52nd in the nation with 3.93 ground balls per game. Berry, who also earned a NAC Player of the Week award, was third on the team with 29 points on 21 goals and eight assists.  

As a freshman: Sara appeared in all 16 games in her first season. She led the team with 44 ground balls, was second in caused turnovers with 25 and was sixth in points with 14. Her first collegiate goal came on March 27 against Salem State. 

At Mt. Ararat: Sara earned varsity letters in lacrosse and soccer for the Eagles. She garnered All-Rookie honors for lacrosse and was named to the Second Team. Sara also played in the Senior All-Star game. 

Personal: Daughter of Bruce and Melody. Has an older brother named Sam. Sara is a Nursing major.
