HEAD COACH SCIRIA RETURNS TO NEC FOR FIRST TIME AS HEAD COACH OF CHARGERS

New London, NH – The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team will take on New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire on Tuesday at 7pm. 

The Chargers enter Tuesday after dropping the last game to a strong Dean College team. The Chargers have scored 70+ in three of their last five games. Tuesday will also see Head Coach Shannon Sciria coach against the team he previously was the assistant coach for.  

New England College dropped their last game on Saturday against Albertus Magnus. This is the first of a three-game home stretch for New England College. 

The Chargers: 

  • Emmanuel Adarkwa (Lawrenceville, GA) – The graduate guard scored 20 on Saturday, in what was his third 20+ point game of the season. 

  • Logan Lapierre Caissie (Ontario, Canada) – The sophomore forward has scored 16 points in each of the last two games. 

  • Sean Peterson (Chester, NH) – The junior forward has recorded a double-double in three of the last five games.  

The Pilgrims: 

  • Josh Robie – The sophomore guard is coming off a career-high 27-point performance on Saturday. 

  • Michael Hills – The junior guard scored nine points on Saturday and has had two double-digit performances this season. 

  • Ryan Cuvier – The sophomore forward is averaging 6.2 rebounds per game.  

The Historical Matchup: 

New England College won the match between the two teams at the Hogan Sports Center last season. The Chargers are 43-14 against New England College all-time. 

Looking Ahead: 

After this game, the Chargers will host Elms on Saturday afternoon in New London.
