MEN'S BASKETBALL HOSTS DEAN FOR FIRST HOME CONFERENCE MATCH-UP

New London, NH – The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team will go up against the Bulldogs of Dean College on Saturday afternoon at the Hogan Sports Center. 

The Chargers are 1-1 in their last two home matches and have scored 65+ points in each of their last five games. This will be the second GNAC match of the season for the Chargers as they look to pick up their first conference win. 

The Bulldogs are on an eight-game winning streak and are coming off a mid-week win at Norwich. Saturday's game is the second of a three-match road stretch for the Bulldogs. 

The Chargers: 

  • Logan Lapierre Caissie (Ontario, Canada) – The sophomore forward scored a career-high 16 points in the last outing for the Chargers. 

  • Sean Peterson (Chester, NH) – The junior forward has recorded five double-doubles this season and is averaging 9.5 points per game. 

  • Elijah Thomas (Fairfax, VA) – The sophomore forward is the leading scorer for the Chargers and is averaging 10.6 points per game. 

The Bulldogs: 

  • Naser Motley – The junior guard is averaging 15 points per game and is coming off a career-high 28-point performance. 

  • Randy Vasquez – The senior forward is averaging 8.4 rebounds per game and 10.8 points per game. 

  • Christian Yeates – The senior guard is averaging 16.8 points per game. 

The Historical Match up: 

The Bulldogs won the match up between the two sides last season. Overall, the two teams are 2-2 against each other all-time. 

Looking Ahead: 

After this game, the Chargers will head to New England College on Tuesday evening for their third GNAC game of the year.
