Box Score BOSTON, Mass. – The Chargers women's tennis team clinched the number one seed for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) playoffs on Sunday after defeating Simmons by a 7-2 final. Colby-Sawyer has now won its last 16 GNAC regular season matches and now has the opportunity to win its third-consecutive GNAC Championship.

- The Chargers held a 2-1 advantage after the doubles sessions as junior Grace Carpenter (Milford, N.H.) and first year Maria Espinosa Lopez (Merida, Mexico) picked up a 8-2 win in number one doubles, while sophomore Callie Valeri (New London, N.H.) and senior Taylor Bentley (New Milford, Conn.) added a 8-2 win in number three doubles.
- In singles action Espinosa Lopez led the Charger with a 6-0, 6-0 win in number two singles. Senior Mary Thoms (Northwood, N.H.) picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win in number three singles, junior Mei Genest (Keene, N.H.) added a 6-3, 6-0 win in number four singles. Bentley and Valeri added wins in number five and six singles to clinch the wins.
