Biography

AT COLBY-SAWYER
2023-24: Bentley was named team captain for the season. Taylor finished the season 5-4 in singles competition and 4-5 in doubles. Bentley ended the year with a perfect 2-0 record in GNAC singles action and 1-0 in conference doubles play. Taylor's biggest win of the season came on October 8th winning in number five singles 6-2, 6-3 against Simmons to clinch the top playoff seed for the Chargers. Bentley was later named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Sportsmanship Team. 

2022-23: Bentley saw action in one singles match and two doubles matches in the 2022-23 year. Taylor dropped her lone singles match on March 15th at Ithaca College in the 6th singles position. Bentley fell in both of her doubles matches in 3rd doubles on March 15th and 16th.

2021-22: Bentley saw the court twice for the Chargers in 2021-22. Taylor finished the year 1-1 in number six singles. Bentley picked up her first collegiate win on March 17th against Stevenson with a 6-0, 6-0 victory in number six singles.

2020-21: The team did not compete due to COVID-19.  

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of New Milford High School, where Bentley was a academic honor roll student.
