BROCKPORT, N.Y. — On Thursday the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) released its 2021 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad featuring 14 Colby-Sawyer Chargers.
The NFHCA National Academic Squad program, sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, honors collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.
The Chargers making the NFHCA National Academic Squad are sophomore Carly Ayotte (Swanzey, N.H.), junior Emilie Bouchard (Newport, Vt.), first year Destiny Cruz (Fall River, Mass.), junior Aoife Daly (Harwich, Mass.), junior Caroline Koziol (Waterford, N.Y.), graduate student Julia Lanctot (Sandown, N.H.), first year Courtney Larson (Auburn, Maine), sophomore Aleah Murph (Portland, Maine), graduate student Chelsea Perry (Oakland, Maine), junior Jordan Pollard (Newbury, N.H.), junior Madison Quick (Windsor, N.Y.), senior Jess Shatford (Derry, N.H.), junior Bella Silva (Danvers, Mass.) and junior Lauren Wilkinson (Lynn, Mass.).
