Women's Rugby Defeated by Bowdoin

NEW LONDON, N.H.- The Colby-Sawyer women's rugby team continued its the season this afternoon against Bowdoin College. The Polar Bears prevailed, 79-0.

First-year's Alexandra Perez (Claremont, N.H.) and Vincenza Muoio (North Haven, Conn.) lead the team in tackles this afternoon. Senior captain Sophia Zaragoza (Mount Tabor, N.J.) was a key contributor on the offensive side of the ball.

Up next, the Chargers take on Castleton University on Sunday, Sept. 3. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
