Biography

AT COLBY-SAWYER
2021-22: Zaragoza competed in the fall 15's season for the Chargers. Sophia led the team in tackles on October 15th against Endicott College in a 34-17 Charger win. Zaragoza also led the team in tackles in the NIRA Semifinal against Bowdoin College on November 13th in her final game with the Chargers. Zaragoza was later named a All-NIRA Honorable Mention.

2020-21: The team did not compete due to COVID-19. 

2019-20: Zaragoza competed in the fall 15's season for the Chargers as the Spring 7's season was canceled. Sophia and the Chargers ended the year with a 7-2 record and a 5-0 NIRA record before falling in the NIRA Semifinals. 

2018-19: Zaragoza competed in the fall 15's and spring 7's season for the Chargers in 2018-19. Sophia and Colby-Sawyer finished the year 12-8-1.

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Morris County School of Technology, where Zaragoza was a three-sport athlete playing on the volleyball, softball and basketball teams.
