BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Colby-Sawyer women's rugby team finished off their spring season in the Nor'easter 7s Tournament hosted by the University of New England.
Rapid Recap:
- In the first matchup the Chargers fell to the University of New England's A squad by a 34-0 final.
- Colby-Sawyer trailed early in the second match by a 10-0 margin against Castleton University before junior Bethany Ralph (Whitman, Mass.) put the Chargers on the board with a try at 4:38 in the match. The Spartans put things away with two more tries to win by a 20-5 final.
- In the third match the Chargers took the lead just 1:26 into the match as Ralph found the try line. Norwich would counter with 27 straight to win by a 27-5 final.
- Colby-Sawyer closed out the day with a 49-0 loss to Bowdoin College.
Players of the Day:

Alexis LeBreton (Bangor, Maine) and junior
Bethany Ralph (Whitman, Mass.) were named co-players of the day for Colby-Sawyer.
