Colby-Sawyer and Colby College Can't Overcome Bowdoin

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's rugby team welcomed Colby College and Colby-Sawyer in a friendly home match on Saturday afternoon with the Mules and Chargers combining to take on the polar bears.

  • The Colby and Colby-Sawyer teams fell short by a 59-5 final at the end of the 15's friendly.
  • The one try for the visitors came from Colby College crossing the end line.
  • At the end of the match senior Celina Dao (Portland, Ore.) was named forward of the game for the visiting team.
