NEW LONDON, N.H. – July 14, 2020 – Colby-Sawyer men's basketball student-athlete Dana Bean (Franklin, N.H.) will continue his playing career in Spain. Bean has signed a professional contract with Club Bàsquet L'Hospitalet based in Catalonia, Spain, which is located just outside of Barcelona.  
 
Bean graduated from Colby-Sawyer after an illustrious four-year career with the Chargers. He is ranked fifth in program history in points with 1,688, second in rebounds with 895, second in blocks with 116, fifth in field goals made with 679 and sixth in free throws made with 327. Bean played and started in 103 of the possible 106 games in his career. He shot an impressive 56.6% from the floor for his career and was never below 54% in a single season.
