NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 12, 2019 – The Colby-Sawyer women's rugby team earned a 39-19 victory over the University of New England on Saturday at Mercer Field.
Today's win marks the second-straight victory in two matches against UNE this season. The Chargers defeated the Nor'easters 58-0 in Biddeford last month.
Colby-Sawyer remains undefeated at 6-0. The Chargers host New England College next Saturday. UNE drops to 1-3. The Nor'easters host Norwich next Sunday.

Jordyn Enos (Salinas, Calif.) scored back-to-back tries to give Colby-Sawyer a 10-0 lead with less than 12 minutes to play in the first half.
The Nor'easters cut the deficit in half with no time showing on the scoreboard thanks to an Alyssa Ehrenfried (Acton, Mass.) try.
Enos began the second half with her third try of the match and was followed by a successful conversion kick from sophomore
Julia Anhalt (Littleton, Colo.) to put Colby-Sawyer in front 17-5.
Senior Mariah Chase (Unity, N.H.) responded with a try and kick for UNE to cut the lead to 17-12.
Enos used her speed once again to push the Colby-Sawyer lead to 22-12. Sophomore
Bailey Burt (South Burlington, Vt.) then converted the kick to make the score 24-12.
UNE battled back again with an Ehrenfried try and a Chase conversion to pull the Nor'easters to within 24-19.
With less than 10 minutes to play, Colby-Sawyer pulled away with tries by sophomore
