NEW LONDON, N.H. - November 3, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer women's rugby team defeated Bowdoin, 18-10, in the regular season finale for both teams.
Colby-Sawyer improves to 5-3, while Bowdoin drops to 4-3.
The Polar Bears got on the board first on a try by first-year Sara Nelson (Belmont, Mass.) to take a 5-0 lead.
First-year
Julia Anhalt (Littleton, Colo.) pulled the Chargers within a pair after converting a penalty kick to make the score 5-3.

Bowdoin's Sophia Karris (Oak Brook, Ill.) cut the deficit to 13-10 with a try with just a few minutes to play.
