BRUNSWICK, Maine - October 13, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer women's cross country team placed sixth out of eight at Saturday's Bowdoin Invitational.
The Chargers collected 167 points in today's 6k race.
RESULTS
Colby-Sawyer was led by strong performances from
Alison Fairbairn and
Hannah Barrett with a pair of big personal records. Fairbairn placed 14th overall out of 93 runners in a time of 24:21.7. Barrett's PR of 25:37.3 placed her in 39th.
Megan Spainhower also turned in a solid race and covered the course in 25:53.6 to finish 44th.
Amanda Boyd returned to lineup and placed 48th with a time of 26:08.1.
Rounding out the top five finishers was
Hannah Giesing. She came away with 58th place in 26:58.7.
Bryanna Parker - 59th, 27:03.0
Alley Rogers - 65th, 27:35.5
Abbie Castriotta - 69th, 28:02.0
Shae-Lyn Walker - 71st, 28:19.1
The Chargers will be off from competition next week and will resume action on October 27 at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships held at Saint Joseph's (ME).
