WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FINISH AS RUNNER UP AT GNAC CHAMPIONSHIP

NORTHFIELD, VT. - The Colby-Sawyer women's cross country team traveled to Norwich University, home of the 2025 Cross Country Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championships on Sunday afternoon.

Rapid Recap:
  • The duo of Adriana Nadeau (Londonderry, N.H.) and Leah O'Neill (Peabody, Mass.) would lead the charge for the Chargers as they would finish first and third respectively. Nadeau would cross the line in a time of 24:05 to be named this years 2025 Runner of the Year for the second time in her career. O'Neill would finish third, setting another personal best in the women's 6k with a time of 24:16.
  • First Year Jacklyn Anderson (Hanover, N.H.) would help continue the charge for the Chargers as she would finish in 8th place overall. Anderson would cross the line in 25:07 as the third Charger.
  • Annika Lackstrom (New London, N.H.) would finish as the fourth Charger across the line with a time of 25:54, which would be best for 18th overall.
  • Kelly Ranta would have a big day for the Chargers, sliding into the fifth slot for the Chargers to round out the teams scoring. Ranta would complete the 6k in a time of 27:21 for 33rd overall. 
  • Maisy Hill (Bristol, Vt.) would finish in a time of 28:29, while Carly Eaton (Hampton, N.H.) and Karolina Otworth (Weston, Conn.) would finish right after with times of 28:49 and 29:24 respectively. Lenah Hellerich (Tolland, Conn.) would cross the line in a time of 30:48 while Anna Hildreth (Westmoreland, N.H.) would finish the day for the Chargers at a time of 33:47.
Inside the Numbers:
  • The Chargers would have three members of All-Conference as Nadeau and O'Neill would be named First Team and Jacklyn Anderson would be named Second Team.
  • The Chargers would finish in 2nd place of 9 scoring teams with 59 total points.
