CHARGERS FINISH TOP 20 FOR FIRST TIME IN THREE YEARS

Hopkinton, NH - The Colby-Sawyer women's cross country team headed to Hopkinton on Saturday morning to run in the NCAA DIII East Regional Championships. 

Rapid Recap:
  • The Chargers were led by Senior, and GNAC Runner of the Year Adriana Nadeau (Londonderry, N.H.) who finished with a season best to cap her stellar cross country career. Nadeau would finish 74th overall with a time of 24:01. 
  • Leah O'Neill (Peabody, Mas.) would cap her spectacular cross country career with a top-100 finish running over a minute faster and placing thirty places higher than just a year ago on the same course. O'Neill would finish 96th overall with a time of 24:40.
  • First Year Jacklyn Anderson would finish a great first campaign with the Chargers as she would cross the line in a time of 25:05 for 114th overall. 
  • Annika Lackstrom (New London, N.H.) would be the next Charger across the line, finishing with a new 6k personal best to end the season. Lackstrom would finish in a time of 25:36.
  • Lenah Hellerich (Tolland, Conn.) would round out the Chargers scoring as she would cross the line in a time of 30:10.
Inside the Numbers:
  • The Chargers would finish as the top GNAC school on the day as they finished 20th overall and Emmanuel finishing 23rd.
  • This is the highest the Chargers have finished at the Regional meet since 2022 where they finished 19th.
Up Next:
The Chargers cross country season comes to an end, and they will be back on the starting line next Fall while most of the team will continue onto Indoor Track.
