Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a senior: Spainhower, a team captain, finished 18th in the season-opening race. She helped the team win the 2nd Annual Charger Invitational. At the GNAC Championship, Spainhower placed 22nd as the Chargers won their first GNAC title. She earned her second nod to the GNAC All-Academic Team. 

As a junior: Spainhower competed in all seven races in 2018. She had her best finish of 11th in the season opening race at the inaugural Charger Invitational. She posted four top-23 results during the season. Spainhower placed 14th to help the team finish second at the Keene State Invitational. At the final race of the season, she came away with a personal best 6k time of 25:32. Spainhower was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team. 

As a sophomore: Spainhower earned All-NAC Second Team honors after rounding out the Chargers' top-5 finishers at the NAC Championship. She came away with 13th place in a time of 22:03.9 to help the team secure its fourth-straight conference title. She was one of four Chargers to compete in all seven of the team's races in 2017. 

As a freshman: Spainhower had a solid first season with the Chargers. Her highest finish of the year came at the NAC Championship. She placed 19th in a time of 23:43.5 to help Colby-Sawyer win its third straight conference title. The freshman also had strong showings at the Keene State Invitational and Roger Williams Invitational where she placed 22nd and 35th, respectively. She clocked in at 21:01.8 to help the Chargers finish second at Keene State. 

At Coe-Brown: Spainhower earned seven letters for the Bears. She was part of two outdoor track state championship teams.
