NEW LONDON, N.H. - October 12, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer women's rugby team celebrated senior day at Mercer Field against Castleton University on Friday afternoon.
Prior to the match, Colby-Sawyer honored seniors
Marilyn Hohler,
Acadia LeBlanc,
Sage Lincoln and
Jill Marcus.
The Chargers won the match 78-22, but will go in the books as a 28-0 forfeit victory. Today's match was played in quarters and each side played with 10 players.
The Chargers improve to 4-2 and will travel to Norwich on October 20. Castleton falls to 0-5.
SCORING SUMMARY
Colby-Sawyer scored the first 71 points of the game with tries from six different players and four successful conversions off the foot of two different players.
Jordyn Enos had a game best six tries, while
Bailey Burt had four tries and two conversions.
