With 3:53 remaining in the third quarter, the Chargers caught up with the Eagles for the first time since tip-off, tying up the game 39-39 on a jumper by
Emmani Robinson. Under thirty seconds later, Worcester reclaimed Husson's lead draining a deep 3-pointer (42-39). Nearly tying up the score again,

The Chargers captured their first lead of the night, 47-46, with 6:52 on the clock in the final quarter after
Tianna Sugars drove to the basket for a layup. Sugars continued to dominate the floor connecting on four consecutive baskets for five points in the 60 seconds to follow.
Worcester helped give the Eagles the lead back in the final 37.5 seconds of the game, as she sunk two free throws to reclaim a one-point lead over the Chargers, 53-52. The Chargers then held the possession with a chance to take the lead as time was winding down. With just 11.4 seconds left, Sugars continued her precision from the charity stripe after drawing a foul as she went in for the layup to give Colby-Sawyer the one-point lead, 54-53, to secure the win. She then played great defense at the other end of the floor forcing a wayward jumper from Worcester that was rebounded by Hamilton.
