As a senior: Sugars was named to the All-GNAC Second Team. The co-captain led the Chargers with 15.9 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. She shot 45.9% from the field to rank fourth among GNAC players. Sugars also ranked fourth in free throw percentage (79.8), fifth in rebounds (287), fifth in rebounds per game, sixth in blocks (36), and sixth in points per game. She collected an impressive 15 double-doubles, which ranked 21st in the nation. The 11 boards per game ranked 36th in the country, while her 7.5 defensive rebounds ranked 29th nationally. Sugars was twice named GNAC Player of the Week and earned a NEWBA Player of the Week honor. She also earned a spot in the NEWBA Senior Classic game. Sugars finished her career ranked third on the all-time scoring list with 1,363 points, third in rebounds with 963, fifth in blocks with 140, fourth in field goals made with 511 and third in free throws made with 327.
As a junior: Sugars was named to the All-GNAC Third Team. She led the team with 16.3 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. The co-captain shot an impressive 50.3% from the floor and posted a team best 34 blocks. Sugars was a double-double machine, recording 14 in 24 games played, including seven of the final eight games of the season. She ranked 31st in the nation in double-doubles and 29th with 8.0 defensive rebounds per game. Among conference players, Sugars ranked 4th in rebounds, 5th in rebounds per game, 5th in field goal percentage, 6th in blocks and 9th in points per game. Sugars moved into 9th in career blocks with 104, 10th in made free throws with 228 and is nine away from cracking the top-10 in career rebounds. Sugars earned a GNAC Player of the Week award and a nod to the NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll.
As a sophomore: Sugars was named to the All-NAC Second Team. She led the team with 13.9 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. Sugars also had a team best 38 blocks. She posted a team best 13 double-doubles to rank 43rd in the nation in that category. Throughout the season, Sugars earned three NEWBA Honor Roll accolades and a pair of NAC Player of the Week awards. She scored a career-high 22 points in a win over Bridgewater State on Nov. 18 and pulled down 18 rebounds twice.
As a freshman: Sugars played in all 27 games, started once, and logged 15.4 minutes per game. She was fourth on the team with 7.3 points and second with 5.6 rebounds per game. Sugars led the team with an impressive 56.9 shooting percentage and 32 blocks. She recorded seven blocks, which is tied for second most in a game, against Husson on Dec. 9. She poured in a season best 15 points at Smith on Nov. 20 and grabbed 11 rebounds three times during the season. Sugars earned NAC Rookie of the Week and ECAC Rookie of the Week awards.
At Oxford Hills: Tianna earned four varsity letters in basketball for the Vikings. She played in the all-star game all four years, was a member of the Eastern Maine Championship team as a sophomore, a four-time Defensive Player of the Year, played in the McDonald game and was a McDonald's Miss Maine semifinalist.
