As a senior: Hamilton, a team co-captain, was named to the All-GNAC Second Team, earned a spot in the NEWBA Senior Classic and earned GNAC All-Academic Team honors for the second year in a row. She also became just the second Colby-Sawyer women's basketball player to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District distinction for her work in the classroom. She was second on the team with 14.0 points and 6.9 rebounds, while logging 34 minutes per game. She collected 188 assists in the 2019-20 campaign to lead the conference and rank third in the nation. Hamilton also finished the season second in the country with 7.2 assists per game. She earned one GNAC Player of the Week award and one NEWBA Player of the Week honor. Hamilton is the program's all-time leader in assists with 689. That total puts her eighth on the NCAA Division III all-time career assists list. Her 6.75 assists per game average ranks her 11th in Division III history. Hamilton also finished her career ranked sixth in program history with 1,286 points, seventh in steals with 225, seventh in three-pointers with 157, and fifth in made free throws with 291. She also had two triple-doubles in her senior season to give her three for her career, which is most in program history. Hamilton finished in the top-10 in the nation in each of her four seasons in assists and assists per game.
As a junior: Hamilton was second on the team with 13.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. The co-captain led the squad with 166 assists and 56 steals. Hamilton ranked 2nd in the nation in assists per game (7.2) and 7th in total assists. Hamilton had five games with at least 10 assists. She climbed into 2nd place in career assists with 501. Hamilton was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team.
As a sophomore: Hamilton was named to the All-NAC Second Team and earned All-Tournament honors. Hamilton was second on the team with 13.4 points per game and led the team and NAC in assists with 177. Her assists total was fourth most in the nation and her 6.8 assists per game ranked third. She ranks eighth in program history with 335 career assists. On Jan. 15, Hamilton posted 18 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds to become the second Charger and one of only 28 players in the nation during the season to record a triple-double. Hamilton earned a NAC Player of the Week and a nod to the NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll during the season.
As a freshman: Hamilton was named to the All-NAC Second Team in her first season. She finished second on the Chargers with 10.2 points per game and led the team and conference in assists with an impressive 158. At seasons end, Hamilton was eighth in the nation in total assists and ninth in the nation with 5.9 assists per game. She set a program record with 16 assists in a win over Green Mountain on January 14. The 16 assists was the most in a Division III women's basketball game in the 2016-17 season. Hamilton was named NAC Rookie of the Week four times, New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Rookie of the Week twice and ECAC Rookie of the Week once.
At Sunapee: Lexie earned varsity letters in basketball, soccer and softball. She was a 1,000 point scorer and assist leader in basketball and soccer. The basketball team went undefeated in back-to-back seasons, while the softball team won two straight softball championships. Lexie was First Team All-State and a finalist for Miss NH Basketball.
