CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - October 4, 2017 - The Colby-Sawyer men's soccer team earned a 4-0 shutout at Pine Manor, in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon.

The Chargers improve to 5-5 and will return to North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play this weekend with contests at Lyndon and Johnson. Pine Manor dips to 5-4-1.

Colby-Sawyer scored a pair of goals in the first 8:05 of the game to go on for the comfortable victory. Senior Denali Sexton scored less than two minutes into the contest when he headed a corner kick from senior Jake Sykes into the back of the net with his team leading seventh goal.

Freshman Ahamad Raji doubled the Chargers' lead six minutes later after scoring off a feed from Sexton.

Early in the second half, Raji would put home his fourth goal of the season after gathering a loose ball in front and ripping it past the keeper.

The Chargers added a fourth goal in the 69th minute with crisp passing. Sexton sent a pass from the left side that was flicked on by Raji to Sykes who scored inside the post for his third tally of the season.
